Carine Lea Chardon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the fields of media law, consumer electronics, and technical infrastructure. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Consumer Electronics at ZVEI e. V. since September 2020, Chardon holds multiple leadership roles, including Membership on the Supervisory Board at heinemann group SE and Messe Berlin, and as Managing Director of Deutsche TV-Plattform since August 2008. Chardon's previous positions include leadership roles in media policy and regulatory affairs at ZVEI and Premiere AG, along with contract management at EM.TV AG. Chardon possesses advanced degrees in audiovisual communication law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and in legal studies from the University of Cologne.
