They have held various leadership positions in prominent companies such as Wonderschool, HOVER Inc., Coursera, Life360, Homejoy, Snapfish, R/GA, and Memolane. Shu Lai has experience in product design, UX/UI, creative direction, and branding. They have led teams and collaborated with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences and innovative solutions. Shu Lai is highly skilled in design leadership and has a strong focus on deep empathy, collaboration, bold decision-making, and iteration.

Shu Lai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, Shu Lai obtained a certification in Leading Teams from Coursera in November 2018.
