Your Role and Impact

Support and drive ClassSwift software sales activities across the country to achieve the sales target. The service level of the new SaaS team will match the Viewsonic brand, reputation and quality of the Viewsonic Education sales team members in the field.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Actively Prospect, Schedule Meetings and close business in the region
  • Prioritize Largest Districts in Primary state (New York) followed by Regional Large Urbans
  • Focus on engaging largest districts with Top Performing Value Prop (Replicate Success)
  • Establish product introductions to Viewsonic Customers and prospects, manage the software sales process within the region
  • Work directly with Viewsonic Americas Education Sales Team to support new sales of the ClassSwift software application.
  • Develop Software Product Expertise: conduct demonstrations and webinars. Learn the value story and add value by actively listening to prospects and reporting to the development team.
  • Attend conferences: State and National (When hosted in the given region)
  • Exceptional Conference Booth presence, qualifying leads and eager to follow-up
  • Gather field feedback for product upgrades, enhancements
  • Relentless problem solver and customer advocate
  • Become a trusted Advocate, partner, and act as a natural extension of the Viewsonic Sales Team.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Education Technology or software sales.

  • Must have a working knowledge of how to prospect, sell and support products within target accounts.

  • Strong understanding of sales through the reseller channels.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Possess a mature demeanor, an organized and ambitious self-starter, with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Must possess a high level of energy with demonstrated ability to make a high volume of sales calls, managing high volume of accounts and maintain a continuing fast pace.

  • Excellent time management and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, detailed records are required.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to promote consistent quarterly revenue growth in the region and drive market share upward.

  • Accustomed to business travels, familiar with managing travel schedules, expenses, etc.

  • Experience working in manufacturer sales is helpful but not necessary.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Travel: 60% travel; mostly in New York region with some nationwide travels
  • Environment: As this is a field sales position, the environment is usually on the road visiting customers and prospects. Home office is the standard office environment.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires frequent physical demands in terms of maintaining a continuous pace of business travels, and maneuvering and setting up demo equipment.
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
