Chontel Washington, MBA, serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Belmont Public Schools since September 2021, having held similar roles in educational institutions including Berry College and Framingham State University. With a strong foundation in student diversity initiatives, Chontel's previous experience includes positions as a High School Financial Aid Advisor and Program Coordinator for AmeriCorps, along with roles that involved directing various outreach and recruitment strategies. Chontel holds an MBA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Bachelor's Degree in Africana Studies from Hamilton College.
