Jeff Gerestein, CPHR, is an experienced Human Resource professional with a diverse background in municipal HR functions. Currently serving as the Human Resource Business Partner for the City of Airdrie since November 2019, Jeff supports the Community Infrastructure Directorate and the Airdrie Fire Department in various HR matters including talent acquisition and employee relations. Previously, Jeff held several HR leadership roles at the City of Brooks from August 2011 to November 2019, including Human Resources Manager and Inclusion Coordinator, where responsibilities spanned from strategic HR initiatives to promoting inclusivity within the community. Jeff's career began at Intact Financial Corporation as an Auto Insurance Claims Representative, and educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Management from The University of Lethbridge and the designation of Chartered Professional in Human Resources through CPHR Alberta.
