Rafael Penteado has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rafael started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Morgan Stanley, where they gained experience in software development, database management, and designing software solutions. Rafael then transitioned to the gaming industry, working as a Product Manager and Game Developer at Tapps Games, where they played a key role in the development and success of multiple mobile games.
Rafael later joined Nubank, a leading fintech company in Latin America, as a Product Manager, contributing to the company's mission of empowering individuals to take control of their finances through innovative digital solutions. Rafael then became a Senior Product Manager at Rappi, a high-growth consumer tech startup, leading teams and implementing strategies to improve user engagement and loyalty.
Rafael continued their career in product management at Gympass, a corporate wellbeing platform, where they served as Director of Product Management and Senior Product Manager. In these roles, they worked on projects to enhance booking APIs, develop virtual classes, and enable new verticals.
Rafael also contributed to the digital transformation of companies as a Product Management Instructor at Digital House Brasil and Tera, where they shared their expertise in product management and facilitated the learning and professional development of students.
Furthermore, Rafael held a leadership role as Head of Product at Bom Pra Crédito, a digital credit platform, where they drove the development of digital products, led a team, and implemented cultural changes to foster a more product-driven and user-centered mindset.

Rafael Penteado has a diverse education history. Rafael completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. In 2013 and 2014, they attended the Technical University of Munich, focusing on Sustainable Mobility and earning a degree in Software Engineering. In 2015, Rafael pursued a General Business Program at the Business Training Company. Later, in 2018, they returned to USP and embarked on a Bachelor's degree with a field of study in Design. Additionally, Rafael has obtained a certification in TOEFL from The TOEFL® test.
