Joie Tarnik has extensive experience in operations and program development within the animal care and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Senior Operations Manager at The Dog Stop since July 2015, Joie has held multiple roles in the organization, including Field Operations Manager, General Manager, and Client Care Manager. Prior experience includes working as Agency Services Coordinator at BRUNNER and Manager of Program Development at Washington Area Humane Society, where additional responsibilities included Off-Site Event Coordinator. Joie's early career featured roles with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh as an AmeriCorps VISTA - Resource Development, as well as positions at Kohl's Department Stores and Markowitz Communications as a POS associate and intern, respectively. Joie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Westminster College (PA), earned in 2010.
