John Givler is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in business applications and software engineering. Currently serving as AVP of Business Applications IT at The Doctors Company since May 2006, John has held multiple roles within the organization, including Director and Manager of Business Applications. Prior to this, John worked at the UCSF School of Medicine for six years, progressing through various programmer analyst positions and facilitating the adoption of Microsoft's .NET framework. Earlier in the career, John was a Technical Trainer at New Horizons Learning Center, where instruction on desktop software applications was provided. John holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Whittier College and is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Visual Basic .NET Web Application Development.
