Emma Youd is an experienced Education Mental Health Practitioner with a background in supporting students' mental health within educational settings. Currently employed at The Children's Society since February 2021, Emma previously held the same title at the NHS from February 2019 to February 2021. Emma's earlier roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Glynwood Primary School and as a Supply Mathematics Teacher with Teaching Personnel. Emma also taught Mathematics to KS3 and KS4 students at St Robert of Newminster Catholic School, where mentorship of underachieving students was a key responsibility. Emma began teaching Mathematics as a Trainee Secondary Mathematics Teacher after completing a Learning Support Assistant role at Cardinal Hume Catholic School, providing support to students on the SEN register.
