Joseph Suddarth is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as Assistant Fire Chief at Eglin Air Force Base since January 2014, overseeing 190 personnel across 10 fire stations within a 724 square mile area. In addition to this role, Joseph has been the Fire & Safety Coordinator at Talladega Superspeedway since April 2000, responsible for coordinating the safety of approximately 100,000 personnel during NASCAR events and acting as incident commander during major emergencies. Joseph previously held the position of District Fire Chief at Eglin Fire and Emergency Services from 2001 to 2013. Joseph holds an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from the Community College of the Air Force, earned between 1995 and 1997.
