Dr. Priyantha Gunasekara is a medical doctor with a diverse background in healthcare administration and medical coding. Currently serving at Sri Lanka Insurance since October 2018, Dr. Gunasekara previously held managerial roles at R C M MediGain Colombo (Pvt) Ltd, overseeing both administration and medical coding operations. Prior experience includes positions at MediGain as a Senior Medical Coding Specialist and operations associate, and work as a Medical Officer at Nawaloka Hospitals PLC as well as a House Officer at the Army Hospital. Dr. Gunasekara holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Asia e University and a Medical Doctor degree from Latvijas Universitate.
