Hemant H. has a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. Hemant began working at Quincy Medical Center in 2008, where they served as an Associate Medical Director and later as the Interim Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program. In these roles, they oversaw the Division of Hospital Medicine, managed and counseled physicians, and implemented quality improvement initiatives.
In 2010, Hemant started working at Mount Auburn Hospital as an Academic Hospitalist and Physician Advisor for Utilization Management. Hemant also served as the Chair of Utilization Management. During this time, they also worked as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Hemant joined Schwartz Medical Group in 2013 as a Medical Consultant, and later worked as a Hospital Medicine Specialist at Cape Cod Healthcare and IPC Healthcare, Inc.
Hemant also held positions at Quincy Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as the Medical Director and at Massachusetts Medical Society as the Vice President of the Norfolk District Medical Society.
In 2016, Hemant joined Point32Health as a Medical Director for Utilization Management and Medical Cost Innovation. Hemant then became the Interim Senior Medical Director before being appointed as the Vice President and Senior Medical Director. In this role, they oversee utilization management, collaborates with various departments, and drives medical cost innovation.
Hemant H. completed their high school education at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences. Following this, they attended Delhi University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained their MBBS degree in Medicine. Afterward, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued further education at New York Medical College, completing an Internal Medicine Residency Program and earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
