Yu-Heng Jan is an experienced executive in the optoelectronics and semiconductor industries, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Source Photonics since June 2005, overseeing operations in the US and Taiwan with a focus on Wafer, Chip, OSA, and Transceiver technologies. Previously held positions include Chief Device Officer and Vice President of Device Technology, where Yu-Heng Jan managed the development of high-speed semiconductor devices, including EML and PD. Prior to Source Photonics, Yu-Heng Jan held various roles at MRV Communications, including Vice President of Optoelectronics, managing significant acquisitions, and earlier experience included director and scientist roles leading innovative developments in semiconductor laser technology. Yu-Heng Jan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
