Sam Mandegaran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in hardware systems and RF chip design. Currently serving as Sr. Principal R&D Engineer at Skyworks Solutions, Inc., since November 2024, Mandegaran previously held key positions as Senior Manager of Technology at Atmosic Technologies, Lead Scientist at Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Chief Engineer at Abtum Inc. Notable contributions include optimizing Bluetooth SoC chips and developing biometric systems utilizing machine learning and neural networks for audience engagement analysis. Educational qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering and Economics and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, along with an MFA in Film and TV Production from the University of Southern California.
