Roy Watson is a seasoned design leader with an extensive architectural background and long history in the field of experiential graphic design. Roy has used his expertise in strategic design thinking and project visioning – along with his emphasis on design mentorship – to successfully guide multidisciplinary teams working on a wide range of industry-leading projects across the U.S. and around the world.
As an Associate Director of Sensory Interactive’s Design and Strategy team, Roy leads talented groups of architects, designers, and technologists as they create and implement strategies for brand integration and brand development in the built environment. He uses his experience working in multiple disciplines on a diverse range of projects to ensure that his teams approach every opportunity with an open mind, encouraging them to always pursue the design solution most appropriate for that project and its users.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Roy was most recently an Associate Principal and Design Director at Page/ Dyal Branding & Graphics in Austin. While at Page, he led the group’s experiential graphic design practice and worked on award-winning engagements that included civic and cultural buildings, retail and mixed-use developments, higher education campuses, healthcare facilities, and hospitality projects.
