Austin Glassner serves as the Lead Research Engineer at Scientific Systems since March 2022. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Glassner was the Programmatic Autonomy Lead for Naval Sea Systems Command, and at Electric Boat as Tech-X Portfolio Manager and Senior Engineer, managing technology integration and engineering for U.S. Navy submarine projects. Glassner developed and supervised emerging technology programs, guided rotational engineers, and led innovative projects utilizing advanced technologies such as additive manufacturing and AI. Additionally, Glassner has held leadership positions within the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was involved in accreditation efforts at Tufts University. Glassner holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
