Tobias Arie de Jong is an Atmospheric Scientist at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research since December 2022. Prior to this role, Tobias served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leiden Institute of Physics from November 2017 to October 2022, after completing a PhD in Physics at Leiden University. Tobias has a rich teaching background, having been a teaching assistant for various Bachelor courses during academic tenure at Leiden University. Additional experience includes internships focusing on advanced microscopy and superconductivity within esteemed research groups and contributions to educational system administration at De Leidsche Flesch. Academically, Tobias holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, both from Leiden University.
