Joelle Sissmann serves as the Vice President of Global Product Communications at sanofi-aventis since January 2009, where responsibilities include developing and implementing global strategies for product communications across various therapeutic areas, overseeing digital marketing campaigns, and managing a global team of 20. Sissmann is also a member of the Steering Committee for crisis management and has been recognized for creating one of the best-managed communication campaigns in the pharmaceutical industry. Previously, Sissmann held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs, Strategic Stakeholder Partnerships, and Communications at Sanofi-aventis Canada from February 2006 to December 2008, leading a team of 32 and focusing on communications, stakeholder management, and market access strategies. Sissmann holds a Medical Doctor degree in Cardiology from CHU Lariboisiere Saint Louis (Paris VII)/CHU Montpellier-Nimes.
