Neelan Narasimulu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Neelan started their career at Standard Bank Group in 1996, where they held various roles such as Business Analyst, Systems Specialist, Manager of the Audit Technology Group, and Information Management Manager. Neelan then moved on to Silica, where they served as the Manager of BI & Correspondence. After that, they joined Investec Asset Management as the Head of IT Data Services, where they managed a global team of data analysts and was responsible for data management, governance, integration, and quality. Currently, Neelan is working at Sanlam as the Head of Multi Data, overseeing IT strategy, data-driven decision-making, and IT operations management. Throughout their career, Neelan has demonstrated their expertise in IT leadership, project management, vendor management, and communication with stakeholders.

Neelan Narasimulu's education history began in 1992 at Asoka Secondary School, where they completed their matriculation. Neelan then attended the University of Durban-Westville from 1992 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Neelan proceeded to the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2001 for non-degree studies in Information Systems. From 2005 to 2010, they pursued a Masters in Business Leadership at the same university, focusing on Management. Neelan further enhanced their education by attending the Stellenbosch Business School in 2017, completing the Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) in Business Management. Neelan'smost recent educational endeavor was at Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management.
