Lothar Bieg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of science and engineering. As a Senior Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories since March 1980, Lothar has contributed significantly to research and development. Additionally, Lothar has served as Manager of Education and Customer Support for Carl Zeiss in both Germany and the USA since September 1968. Lothar is the founder and co-owner of B & B Automation and Manufacturing, with a tenure from April 2016 to January 2023. Lothar holds a Ph.D. in Science and Engineering from Kennedy Western University and the University of New Mexico, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
