Judy Lowthian serves as the Chair and Member of the Board of Directors at Maryborough District Health Services since July 2024, while also holding various advisory and academic roles such as Advisory Group Member at Ending Loneliness Together and Adjunct Professor in Health and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland. In addition to being the Head of Research and Principal Research Fellow at Bolton Clarke, Judy holds an Adjunct Professor position in Research at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Judy's previous experience includes roles in research and academia at institutions such as the RDNS Institute and the Queensland University of Technology. Judy's extensive background in emergency medicine includes secretarial roles within the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. Judy obtained a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Monash University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences.
