Laura S. has a strong background in extraction processes and operations management within the cannabis industry, having served as an Extraction Specialist/Consultant at Rhize from March 2022 to May 2023, and previously held multiple roles at Tweed Inc. including Extraction Manager and Operations Manager, Extraction. In addition to overseeing the Oil Extraction department, Laura was instrumental in process improvements and equipment validations, and played a key role in training team members on industrial extraction equipment. Prior experience includes positions at Dynacare as a Certifying Scientist and Forensic Technologist, where Laura demonstrated proficiency in test result reporting and high sample throughput. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science Honours (B.Sc.) in Integrated Science with a specialization in Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a specialization in Psychology, both obtained from Carleton University.
