Laura Whitt is a marketing and communications manager at Rooted since May 2023, bringing diverse experience in library and environmental roles. Prior to this position, Laura served as a library preservation assistant at the Wisconsin Historical Society from February 2020 to May 2023 and as a nature net intern at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center from January 2022 to January 2023. Other experience includes a role as a social media manager at Space: A Creative Agency from May 2021 to January 2022, and as a library conservation assistant at the Memorial Library, University of Wisconsin-Madison from June 2016 to May 2019. Laura also worked as a grocery clerk at Target between July 2017 and January 2018. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Studies and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2019.
