Simon Le Cleac'h is a Research Scientist at RAI Institute since June 2023, specializing in robot manipulation. Previously, Simon served as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2018 to May 2023, focusing on optimization algorithms for robotic performance and developing a differentiable physics simulator. Simon also held roles as a Teacher Assistant for various courses, including "Convolutional Neural Networks for Visual Recognition" and "Advanced Topics in Robotic Manipulation." Additional experience includes a Research Internship at Google, a Software Engineer Internship at Aurora, and programming deep learning applications at Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Simon's educational background includes a PhD in Robotics and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an Engineer's degree from CentraleSupélec.
