Maurizio M. has a wealth of work experience in the field of cell biology. Maurizio began their career in 2004 as a Fellow at British American Tobacco. In 2006, they became a PHD Student at Università degli studi di Palermo. In 2008, they were a Visiting Researcher at New York University. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Postdoc and then a Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Principal Scientist, Team Lead, and R&D Scientist at Enzo Life Sciences, Inc. Most recently, they have been a Senior Principal Scientist-Cell Biology at Protara Therapeutics.

Maurizio M. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from the Università degli Studi di Palermo and has attended New York University.
