Leslie Wu is a distinguished Principal Scientist currently leading early oncology discovery research at Astellas Pharma, focusing on engineered small molecules and antibody-drug conjugates. Previous roles include serving as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Mitobridge, Inc., where Leslie led clinical-stage programs for rare diseases and executed pharmacology studies for autoimmune conditions. Leslie has extensive preclinical experience from positions at Affinia Therapeutics and Sarepta Therapeutics, contributing to IND-enabling studies and pharmacology for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and myotonic dystrophy. Leslie's academic background includes a PhD in Applied Anatomy and Physiology from Boston University and an MS in Exercise Sciences from the University at Buffalo, complemented by research roles at both institutions. Leslie's foundational training in physical therapy was completed at Kaohsiung Medical University.
