Aleksandra Holownia is a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie, with experience since October 2020. Prior to this role, Aleksandra served as a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto from September 2015 to August 2020, and as a Visiting Scholar at UC Irvine in 2019, where research focused on transition metal catalysis under Professor Vy M. Dong. Additionally, Aleksandra was an NSERC USRA Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Toronto in the summer of 2014. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry, both obtained from the University of Toronto.
