Bryan McIntosh

Bryan McIntosh has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies. Bryan started their career at Northern Securities in 2002 as a Stockbroker. After working there for two years, they joined Scotiabank in 2003 as a Financial Advisor. Bryan then moved up to the position of Manager Personal Banking in 2006, where they stayed until 2008. In the same year, Bryan joined Prospera Credit Union as a Branch Manager and worked in that role for eight years. Bryan then transitioned to Business Development Manager, Business Banking in 2016, followed by Senior Manager, Local Business in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Local Business & Leasing at Prospera Credit Union, starting in July 2021.

Bryan McIntosh's education history includes a diverse range of qualifications in various fields. Bryan obtained a Red Seal Tradesmen certification in Plumbing and Gas Fitting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Mountain Secondary School in Langley in 1992.

Bryan subsequently pursued a career in the financial industry, gaining expertise in Financial Planning and Services. Bryan completed the Professional Financial Planning Course from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2004, along with the Options Licensing Course, Derivatives Fundamentals Course, and Technical Analysis Course from the same institute in 2002.

To fulfill the regulatory requirements of the financial industry, Bryan obtained the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute, which qualifies him for securities licenses in both IROC and MFDA regulators. Additionally, they completed the Conduct and Practices Course to further enhance their knowledge in Investments and Securities.

Bryan also pursued a specialization in auditing and compliance, obtaining a Branch Compliance Officer certification from the Institute of Canadian Bankers in 2005.

In 2016 to 2017, Bryan enrolled at Dalhousie University and successfully completed the Accredited Business Lender program with Honors, focusing on General Business and Commerce.

Furthermore, Bryan has engaged with CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and the Financial Planning Standards Council, further targeting their expertise in Financial Planning and Services.
