Ed Hirschman

Vice President Of Business Systems Enterprise Architecture at Billtrust

Ed Hirschman has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ed most recently worked at Billtrust as the Vice President of Financial Systems, where they led cross-functional projects and implemented initiatives to improve customer billing accuracy and reduce cycle time. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of ePMO, modernizing the enterprise PMO group and delivering projects involving Finance, IT, Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Support.

Before their time at Billtrust, Ed held leadership positions at Tata Communications, where they led a global team in business intelligence, data science, data quality, master data management, API platforms, portals, and business partnerships. Ed generated multimillion-dollar annual revenue through predictive analytics, API adoption, and support of sales, product, service management, and marketing teams. Additionally, they significantly improved data quality in top data domains.

Ed also worked at Teleglobe as the Director of Business Operations, where they drove quality improvement and cost optimization for wholesale voice products. Ed achieved a significant reduction in fulfillment accuracy errors and reduced the problem destination list.

Earlier in their career, Ed was the General Manager of ITXC Corporation, where they played a crucial role in establishing the company as a global market leader in the international VoIP calling market. Ed was responsible for P&L management and securing high-profile sales wins. Ed also launched the ITXC webTALKnow! service and managed the full services portfolio.

Prior to that, Ed held director and product line manager positions at ITXC Corporation. During their tenure, they led product and project management efforts and successfully collaborated with VoIP vendors to support the iNOW! H323 initiative. Ed also played a key role in strategizing feature requirements planning and creating sales tools and collateral.

Ed Hirschman's education history includes an MBA with a focus on Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business. Ed also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. In addition to their formal education, Ed has also obtained various certifications. These include Managing Data Analysis from Johns Hopkins University through Coursera in February 2018, Introduction to UI Design from the University of Minnesota through Coursera in November 2017, and A Crash Course in Data Science and Building a Data Science Team from Johns Hopkins University through Coursera in September 2017. Ed has also obtained professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2011 and Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in 2008.
