Matthew Briggs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew started at JAM Concrete Pumping as a Pump Operator in June 1999 and worked there until April 2004. Subsequently, they joined Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping as a Pump Operator and stayed with them until February 2009. Matthew then worked at National Hose Testing Specialties as a Crew Leader from April 2009 to October 2010. Following this, they joined Industrial Avaiation Services as an employee and handled aircraft ground support and pesticide handling duties from May 2010 to November 2012. Next, they joined EZ Grade as an Operator and worked from November 2012 to March 2013. In March 2013, they began working at Petra Technologies as an Account Manager and continued in that role. In January 2019, they transitioned to the position of Business Development Specialist at Petra Technologies and held that role until June 2022. Additionally, they also had a concurrent role as a Support Technician at Hicks Technology Services, Inc. from March 2013 to June 2022.

Matthew Briggs attended Chemeketa Community College from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Business and Economics. Outside of their college education, they also obtained a certification in Hazardous Materials Transportation from ODOT in 2010.
