Chris Mickschl is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design leadership. Currently serving as Principal Product Designer at Paylocity since May 2023, Chris previously held the position of Product Design Director at Gemini, where responsibilities included overseeing design for a crypto-backed credit card and staking. Prior to Gemini, Chris was the Senior Director of Product Design at Northwestern Mutual, focusing on client experience and platform development. In earlier roles, Chris contributed as Director of Product Design at LearnVest and Design Director at Laughlin Constable, among others. Chris has worked with notable clients include Nissan, Jawbone, Subaru, and GM, and began a design career after earning a degree from Lake Forest College.
