Li Yang

Tenure-track Assistant Professor at Ontario Tech University

Li Yang, PhD, currently serves as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at Ontario Tech University since January 2024. Previously, Li Yang was a Sessional Instructor at Western University, teaching the graduate course "Machine Learning: From Theory to Applications," and held various roles including Postdoctoral Associate, PhD Candidate, and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph from September 2016 to June 2018. Li Yang earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from Western University and a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Systems and Computing from the University of Guelph.
