Jason Miller, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various research and project management roles. Jason is currently working at OncoNano Medicine, Inc. as an Associate Director of Research Pipeline Development since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Project Manager since November 2018. Jason also had a brief stint as a Consulting Project Manager from May 2018 to November 2018.
Before joining OncoNano Medicine, Inc., Jason worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a Graduate Student in Professor Daniel J. Siegwart's Laboratory from June 2012 to May 2018. Jason also gained research experience at Rockefeller University as a Research Assistant in Professor Thomas Tuschl's Laboratory from September 2009 to June 2012.
Additionally, Jason conducted their senior thesis research in Professor Terry Newirth's Laboratory at Haverford College from September 2008 to May 2009. During their time at Haverford College, they also served as a Teacher's Assistant in Organic and General Chemistry Instructional Laboratories from 2007 to 2009.
Furthermore, Jason had an NSF-REU experience at The University of South Dakota, where they worked in Professor David Hawkinson's Laboratory from May 2008 to August 2008. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Research Technician at Paralec, Inc. from June 2007 to August 2007.
Jason Miller, Ph.D. pursued their education in chemistry by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Haverford College. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they continued their studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they completed a Ph.D. in the Department of Biochemistry within the Organic Chemistry Training Program. This phase of their education spanned from 2012 to 2018.
