Ellaine Fox has a diverse work experience in the scientific and biotechnology field. Since 2016, they have worked at CytomX Therapeutics, starting as a Research Associate and progressing to Associate Scientist and Scientist I. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Associate at DuPont Pioneer from 2012 to 2015. In 2011, they worked as a Research Associate at Sea Lane Biotechnologies, where they focused on screening and optimization of human antibody and SurrobodyTM libraries. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Research Associate I at Altravax, Inc. Earlier in their career, they gained research experience as a Graduate Research Intern at the University of Sydney from 2008 to 2009, investigating plasmid replication in Staphylococcus aureus, and as a Research Assistant II at Maxygen from 2006 to 2008, working on HIV-1 envelope genes and developing novel immunogens. Ellaine also served as a Research Apprentice at USDA-ARS from 2005 to 2006.
Ellaine Fox's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley. Ellaine completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and Development in 2006. After taking a break from education, they resumed their studies in 2008 at the University of Sydney. Here, they pursued a Master of Applied Science degree in Molecular Biotechnology and completed it in 2009.
