Evan DeCorte is a Machine Learning Researcher at Old Mission since May 2023, with prior experience as a Researcher in private trading and a Quantitative Developer at Akuna Capital, focusing on options market making. Previous roles include a Software Engineer at Google, where machine learning was applied to search quality, and a Research Fellow at McGill University specializing in operations research and machine learning in the mining sector. Evan has also coordinated and instructed university-level courses in Discrete Mathematics and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hebrew University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology and an M.Sc. from the University of Toronto, complemented by a B.Sc. from Queen's University.
