Michele Bonerba has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Michele started their career in 2008 as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer at THALES ALENIA SPACE. Michele then moved on to OHB SE in 2010, where they held various roles including Project Manager, LSE and Spacecraft Systems Engineer & Concurrent Engineering Facility Manager. Currently, they are working as the Head of Development Programmes - Defence & Security at OHB SE.

Michele Bonerba attended Sapienza Università di Roma from 2001 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Astronautic Engineering with a focus on Ingegneria aerospaziale, aeronautica e astronautica/spaziale. In addition to their degree, Michele has obtained additional certifications. These include "Human Factor Engineering for Cosmonauts and Pilots" from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and "Project Management in the Space Business" from OHB System.
