Charles Koontz has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on renewable energy and energy storage. Charles co-founded Monarch Energy in 2021 and currently serves as the Co-Founder and COO. In this role, they work with renewable developers and Hydrogen users to develop high-quality projects in the growing energy economy.

Before that, Koontz worked at Ecoplexus Inc. from 2021 to 2021 as the VP Strategy and Analytics. Charles was responsible for setting corporate strategy during a challenging time, incorporating battery energy storage and surplus interconnect strategies into project planning.
