Vineet Jindal is currently the Head of Food Science at Mission Barns. Prior to this, they were the Global Customer Innovations Manager- Plant Based Food at AAK from July 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they established a plant-based foods innovations Center and led global plant-based teams to develop fats and oils solutions for the category. Vineet also established networking with customers (start-up to large global companies) to resolve technical challenges and provided solutions in developing plant-based food (meat and dairy alternatives) products.
Jindal has given 7 public presentations in the plant-based food area, including an IFT webinar,Penn State University (2 presentations), Bridge2Food (2 presentations), Future Food Tech, and AAK Academy in Mexico.
Vineet Jindal has a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from the University of Arkansas, and an MS in Food Technology from Punjab Agri University.
