Trey Wince has a diverse work experience in various roles within the ministry and church sector. Trey began their career in 2012 as President of Ministry Architects, where they held a leadership position. In 2016, they joined The United Methodist Church of Greater New Jersey as Director until 2022. During this time, they also served as a Pastor at Princeton United Methodist Church from 2017 to 2018. In 2012, they were the Head Pastor at Kingston United Methodist Church until 2016. Recently, in 2019, they took on the role of Executive Vice President at Ministry Incubators.

Trey Wince holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English, which they obtained from Baylor University between 1998 and 2002. Between 2012 and 2014, they pursued a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree and a Master of Arts (MA) degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. However, no specific field of study was mentioned for the latter degrees.
