Souad Chabrol Lakhal is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Directrice Partenariats Affinitaires - Head of Embedded Insurance and Head of Legal at MetLife France since May 2013, Souad is a member of the executive committee, overseeing corporate and regulatory advice on various complex legal matters, including M&A transactions and product regulation. Prior to this role, Souad held the position of Head of Legal and Compliance and Senior Legal Counsel at AXA Life Europe from February 2010 to April 2013, providing legal guidance across French, UK, and Spanish markets. Souad's career began at Hogan Lovells, where responsibilities included providing corporate and regulatory advice to financial institutions. Souad holds a Ph.D in Public International Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a Master's and Post-graduate degree in International Law from the same institution, and has been a practicing lawyer since 2008.
