Kenton Nielson has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kenton is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Luna Solutions, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, Kenton served as the Chief Executive Officer at The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc.

From 2001 until their current role, Kenton worked at 1-800 CONTACTS as the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Operations. In this position, they developed strategic partnerships, business strategies, and new opportunities in emerging and parallel marketplaces. Kenton also collaborated with process and technology design teams to enhance the company's market position.

In 2015, Kenton returned to The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc. as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kenton directed the activities of the governing body and provided logistical and administrative support to facilitate youth participation in competitive marching arts.

From 2010 onwards, Kenton served as the Director of the UVU Drumline/Green Man Group at Utah Valley University. In this role, they oversaw the performance and operations of the drumline, including show concept creation, score composition, auditions, student leadership selection, and daily operations.

Prior to that, between 1995 and 2001, Kenton worked at Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a Call Center Manager and Trainer. During their time there, they were part of the pilot team that developed the Associate Development Program for Sears' Customer Care network of Contact Centers. Additionally, they took two years off during this period to serve an LDS mission in Sydney, Australia.

From 2001 to 2008, Kenton Nielson attended Utah Valley University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degree. During this period, they focused on studying music, secondary education, and history.
