Gunes Gunay has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they worked as a Speaker for Radio Bocconi. From 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Local Committee Vice President of Marketing at AIESEC Italia, where they created marketing strategies, led a team, and organized events. In 2017, they also had an Event Organization Internship at Zorlu Performans Sanatları Merkezi, where they managed artist and agent communication and arranged accommodations for foreign artists. In 2018, they joined Sofar Sounds as an Event Organization Team Member, where they managed venue preparation, assisted sound and video teams during performances, and analyzed concert outcomes. In 2020, Gunes became a Congress Member at Galatasaray SK and a Co-Founder at jobtogo.

Gunes Gunay completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication from Università Bocconi from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, Gunes Gunay attended Galatasaray Lisesi for their high school education from 2011 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Gunes Gunay obtained the European Computer Driving License from ECDL/ICDL Certification in December 2018 and the Diplôme d'études en langue française from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) in May 2016.
