Alex always knew she wanted to spend her life helping people, so when choosing her major in college she sought a program that would have the greatest impact on her community. As a result, she pursued a degree in elementary education and Spanish at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. A highlight of her undergrad experience was spending a summer living with a host family in Seville, Spain, and traveling throughout Europe. After graduation, her commitment to education remained, but she ultimately decided that she wanted to work with students in a different capacity. This led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Higher & Postsecondary Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. While enrolled, she held an internship in graduate admissions at their School of Social Work, which prepared her to land a position in higher education at New York University upon graduation. At NYU, Alex spent more than six years in the Admissions Office recruiting students and reviewing applications for all undergraduate programs, including the Tisch School of the Arts, Stern School of Business and Tandon School of Engineering. After her tenure at NYU, she decided to make the leap from higher education into the corporate space, which led her to Clarity in 2018. Alex gravitated toward recruiting knowing she could leverage her skillset in admissions onto the direct-hire team and continue making a positive impact on the lives of others. Alex is a direct-hire recruiter who is passionate about learning something new each day and possesses a genuine desire to use her own experience to help others achieve their professional goals.
