Job description

Janux Therapeutics is seeking an experienced HR manager to provide leadership as a generalist combined with excellent recruitment skills.  Typical generalist duties include but are not limited to compensation and benefits programs, employee relations, leaves of absence, performance management and HRIS along with other special projects. The right person will be a strong HR partner throughout the organization and play a vital role within our team to enable company growth. 

The HR Manager will work collaboratively within a strong HR team dedicated to excellence and providing an outstanding employee experience. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Human Resources Manager will be asked to:

  • Partner with leadership to execute and optimize the organization's talent acquisition strategy.
  • Manage outside vendors (such as RPO), agencies and ATS.
  • Manage HRIS, Culture Amp platform and ATS system.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs in combination with benefits broker and Head of HR.
  • Manage leaves of absence and ensure compliance related policies and processes are up to date.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboard employees to create a positive impression and introduction to Janux.
  • Co-create and coordinate learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Manage compliance related employment policies, ensuring training and programs are current.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 5+ years in a HR management role

  • Biotech experience highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an HR related field; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

  • Highly collaborative team player

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with ATS systems, recruitment strategies and related processes

Compensation:

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $125 - $150,000, we offer stock options and a stock purchase plan.  Janux also offers a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their families, which includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental disability insurance. 

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, internal equity and work location.
