Kristen Engblom is an experienced professional in international trade and policy, currently serving as the Information Technologies Team Lead at the International Trade Administration since February 2011, following a role as Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of the Western Hemisphere. Prior experience includes serving as an International Trade Specialist for the U.S. Department of Commerce from December 2005 to February 2011, where Kristen coordinated U.S. policy toward Chile and managed an anti-corruption initiative in Latin America. Earlier roles include working as a Graduate Fellow at Kissinger McLarty Associates, conducting country risk analyses, and as a Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, where correspondence for trade and economics was managed and fiscal implications of significant legislation were analyzed. Kristen holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Notre Dame.
