Bethsy Plaisir currently serves as the Education and Community Support Specialist Manager at the International OCD Foundation, a role held since August 2019. Previously, Bethsy worked as a Family Resource Coordinator at Success For Kids and Families from April 2018 to October 2018, where responsibilities included providing essential newborn discharge packets and referrals to community resources. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Leon County Public Health Unit and a field experience role at Florida Health, where tasks involved conducting literature research and developing tracking tools related to public health. Bethsy's career began as a Daycare Teacher at Creative World School, where lesson plans were created for kindergarten and early elementary students. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, a Bachelor's from the University of South Florida, and an Associate of Arts degree from Hillsborough Community College.
