Laura Schmidt, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Washington, with extensive experience in the field since 1999. As an IFS Consultant, family systems psychotherapist, and workshop leader, Laura has been an AAMFT Clinical Fellow since 2002 and obtained certification as an Internal Family Systems Therapist in 2010. Additional roles include program assistant at the IFS Institute and past seminar speaker for PESI, along with being an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and an approved consultant for IFS Certification. Laura served on the WAMFT board, where significant contributions included organizing networking meetings and receiving the Volunteer of the Year award in 2008.
