Joey Cruz III is a seasoned clinical research and healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical research coordination, quality assurance, and patient care. Currently serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Headlands Research since February 2022, Joey previously held similar roles at Synexus Clinical Research Ltd and Orlando Clinical Research Center. Earlier experience includes positions as a Recruitment Specialist at Florida Premier Research Institute, a Patient Care Technician at DaVita Kidney Care, and roles in special education and community support. Joey also contributed to academia as the Director of the Office for Community Development and as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Santo Tomas, where responsibilities included leading community development initiatives and educating nursing students in public health and fundamental nursing skills. Joey holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas, achieved in 1991.
