Silke White is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in neurobiology and imaging technologies. Currently serving as a Guest Scientist at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since March 2012, Silke White focuses on the effects of stress hormones on brain function and cognition within the Brain Resilience group led by Miranka Wirth. Prior to this role, Silke White was the Head of the Imaging Platform at TU Dresden from June 2010 to February 2012 and worked as a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology and Genetics between January 2008 and June 2010. Silke White also held the position of Staff Microscopist at the Medical Theoretical Centre Dresden and managed the Confocal Microscopy Facility during 2008.
