Linda Beers is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in orchestral and string instruction. Currently serving as an Orchestra Teacher at Glastonbury Public Schools since July 2023, Linda has been a violinist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra since September 1997. Additionally, Linda directs the Linda Beers Violin Studio, LLC, established in June 2011, and previously worked as a strings teacher and orchestra director at Simsbury Public Schools from July 2002 to July 2023. Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wellesley College, a Performance Diploma from the Longy School of Music, and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music.
